Omaxe State Unveils India's First Integrated Stadium-Hotel

The Omaxe State, a landmark 50-acre mixed-use development in Dwarka by Omaxe in partnership with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), is set to redefine India’s hospitality-led urban development.

At the center of this vision is India’s first integrated stadium-hotel, a 158-key luxury property managed by IHCL under the Gateway brand.

The hotel connects directly to a 30,000-seat cricket-cum-football stadium, offering 40 stadium-view suites and 108 rooms with private access to live events—mirroring global models seen in London’s Wembley and Melbourne’s sports precinct.

The hospitality ecosystem extends beyond the hotel. A 250,000 sq. ft. members-only Elite Club with fine dining, lounges, and wellness spaces, along with a curated food district featuring rooftop restaurants and all-day dining venues, will anchor a destination blending sports, entertainment, and gastronomy.

Mohit Goel, Managing Director of Omaxe, notes that seamless connectivity and the ability for guests, players, and performers to access the stadium directly create an immersive hospitality experience. This integrated model aims to keep the sports and entertainment infrastructure active year-round, driving tourism and business traffic. Over its lifetime, the project is expected to generate INR 4,200 crore, with hospitality as a major growth engine.

A critical aspect of this vision is the innovative partnership with IHCL, a trusted name in luxury hospitality. “Our collaboration with IHCL formed naturally from this vision,” Goel says. “Their history of trust complements The Omaxe State’s scale and ambition. Together, we are creating India’s first integrated stadium-hotel concept, blending world-class hospitality with live sports and entertainment, which will be a first for the country.”

As India’s hospitality sector surges—fueled by rising incomes, expanding event culture, and domestic tourism — The Omaxe State serves as a prototype for future urban models where hospitality plays a central economic role.

“The stadium-hotel concept at The Omaxe State is unique to India,” Goel explains. “It features a 30,000-seat stadium that meets ICC and FIFA standards, alongside a 5-star luxury hotel and a 250,000 sq. ft. exclusive club. This Elite Club will offer amenities like lounges, a spa, cafés, a private bowling alley, a gym, a Pilates room, a boxing ring, a library, and conference rooms, along with top-notch sporting facilities.”
