Hilton Launches DoubleTree at Bengaluru Airport Location

Hilton has declared the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport, the most extensive hotel in the brand in India, and reinforced its position in one of India’s most energetic hospitality markets.

This launch has seen Hilton be able to open seven hotels in Bengaluru, which include luxury, full-service, and focused-service properties. The 304 room hotel is a developed in cooperation with Dangayach Group and is in the Aerospace Park, about 15 minutes near Kempegowda International Airport.

Being the first hotel in this nascent industrial and research centre, it will be well placed to cater to the corporate travellers, air travel related business as well as transit traffic along the northern corridor of Bengaluru.

Senior Vice President and Regional Head, South Asia, Hilton, Zubin Saxena, added that the opening reflects Hilton belief in diverse long term growth potential of Bengaluru market and in its plans to expand intelligently in the major gateway markets with the appropriate brand mix.

Atul Dangayach, Managing Director, Dangayach Group, observed that the size of the hotel and its location near the airport make it ideal in conferences, large-form meetings, business travel, as well as in the domestic leisure travel.

The establishment has three dining establishments, outdoor pool, spa, fitness centre, and more than 9,185 square feet of meeting/event facilities that consist of two ballrooms. Hilton has nearly 100 hotels in operation or under development in South Asia at present.
