In a beautiful illustration of cutting-edge design with tradition, Ritika Rakhiani Studio has announced The Pool House, a lavish addition to a multi-generational farmhouse built for a tight-knit family of twelve.
The design, constructed with eco-friendly Light Gauge Steel Frame (LGSF) building, ensures minimal environment disturbance while developing a peaceful, contemporary haven that harmonizes social living with individual contemplation.
"The love of the family for their verdant environment motivated us to design a space that would embrace and harmonize with nature," states Ritika Rakhiani, Founder and Principal Architect.
Wearing glass and metal, the home dissolves distinctions between in and out. A cantilever roof, measuring 16 to 11 feet, serves not only to create architectural drama but also to facilitate rainwater harvesting.
Key highlights:
The effect is a dwelling that conforms to nature's rhythm—mirroring vegetation by day and radiating warmly at night. “This space has become the heartbeat of our home, where every corner holds a story and every gathering creates a memory," one family member said.
The interior material palette of beige stone floors, textured walls, and wooden ceilings radiates understated luxury. The open-plan composition features a family lounge, dining area, bar, and kitchen—centered by a stone-clad island.

Spread to a wooden deck and pool, the residence is now a dynamic space for recreation and bonding. "It's not an architectural addition, it's a lifestyle extension," Rakhiani added.
With its smooth blend of design, sustainability, and emotion, The Pool House reimagines what it means to live near both nature and kin.
