Green Bay Seeks YEIDA Support for Dues & Land Possession

Green Bay Infrastructure

Green Bay Infrastructure Private Limited has paid Rs. 33 crore by June 26, 2025, to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA)—constituting 25 percent of the recalculated Rs. 110 crore dues for its TS-06 Township, as per the Amitabh Kant Committee recommendations.

However, the company now seeks a two-month extension to pay the remaining dues and has offered to submit a notarized affidavit to underscore its commitment. The promoter had earlier been directed by YEIDA to pay 25 percent of a larger Rs. 441 crore liability by June 30.

Key Highlights

  • Rs. 33 crore paid; seeks 2-month extension to clear dues.
  • 30–35 precent of land still under cultivation, affecting sales.
  • Request to sublease commercial area to boost cash flow.

Green Bay has also raised concerns over incomplete land possession—30–35 percent of the site is still under cultivation by farmers, which is delaying development and impacting buyer confidence.

The company is requesting permission to sublease the commercial portion to generate immediate cash flow and have assistance from YEIDA in acquiring full possession and compensating affected farmers.

According to Amit Sharma, Project Director of Green Bay Golf Village, uncertainty over possession is affecting sales and investor confidence. The 100-acre township project, launched in 2011, has 690 residential plots with about 300 plots already registered post-completion in 2022.

Despite dues of Rs. 441 crore, Green Bay remains committed to paying the full amount, urging YEIDA’s support to unlock the full potential of the project.
