Cygnett Park Guwahati Announced, Opening in July 2026

Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced its ninth property in the Northeast with the signing of Cygnett Park Guwahati, in partnership with SRKS Hospitalities Pvt. Ltd.

This premium midscale hotel is set to open in July 2026, strategically located at the Guwahati-Meghalaya border. Cygnett Park Guwahati promises easy accessibility, just 45 minutes from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and 15 minutes from Guwahati city centre, appealing to both business and leisure travellers. The hotel will embody Cygnett’s green and wellness-oriented hospitality, paired with affordable luxury.

“We were one of the first branded hospitality chains to establish a presence in Northeast India. We are steadily moving toward a 2000-key footprint in the region by 2029. In the Rising Northeast Summit 2025, which took place earlier this year, some of the key Indian industries announced investments worth more than ₹4.3 lakh crore to explore opportunities in the Northeast. The economic growth happening in the region is playing an instrumental role in the development of the tourism and hospitality sector here,” said Sarbendra Sarkar, founder & managing director, Cygnett Hotels & Resorts.

Guests can enjoy a signature Cygnetture culinary experience, featuring a vibrant all-day dining restaurant with al fresco seating, a speciality rooftop outlet showcasing Northeast Indian cuisine, and a pure vegetarian restaurant.

With 108 contemporary rooms and suites, the property will also feature a stylish bar, 9,000 sq ft of banqueting space, a spa, fitness centre, swimming pool, and various recreational amenities.

 “As Cygnett Hotels & Resorts moves ahead with its ambitious target to establish itself as a 100-plus strong hotel group in the coming years, we are targeting to open 12-15 properties across the country annually. Northeast India is strategically important for our expansion plans,” added Sarkar.
