Bollywood Actor Jaideep Ahlawat and his Wife Buys Luxury Apartment in Mumbai for Rs. 10 Crores

Bollywood actor Jaideep Ahlawat and his wife Jyoti Hooda have bought an apartment in Andheri West in Mumbai for Rs. 10 crores, according to property registration documents from Inspector General of Registration (IGR) assessed by Square Yards.

The property was located in Poorna Apartments and the apartment has a carpet area of 1,950 sq ft with a built-up area of 2,341 sq ft, according to official papers.

According to the property registration documents from IGR viewed by Square Yards, the transaction entailed Rs. 60 lakh in stamp duty and the registration fee was Rs. 30,000.

Andheri West is strategically located and halfway from Mumbai's business districts and entertainment districts, it has flourished into an exciting commercial and residential area with modern offices, entertainment centres and high-end residential schemes.

Earlier in April, Bollywood playback singer Alka Yagnik and her daughter Syesha Kapoor purchased a luxury apartment in Mumbai for Rs. 11.5 crores. The 2,297 sq ft apartment is in Oberoi Sky Heights, Andheri West and the registration date was on April 15. The unit was valued at Rs. 50,071 psf.

Previously, Bollywood composer and singer Anu Malik and his wife Anju Malik sold their two apartments for Rs. 14.49 crores in the Santacruz West region of Mumbai.

As per property registration documents accessed by FloorTap.com, Amitabh Bachchan acquired 3 additional commercial properties having a carpet area of 8,429 square feet, for close to Rs. 60 crore in Mumbai's Andheri West last year.
