Bollywood Actress Amrita Puri buys Luxury Home in Mumbai for Rs. 37 Cr

Bollywood actress Amrita Puri has bought an expensive Rs. 37 crore luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Lower Parel, as revealed in property registration documents obtained by Square Yards.

Macrotech Developers, aka Lodha Group, developed Lodha World Towers, which are one of India’s highest buildings. The documents reveal that the apartment had been registered on April 30, 2025; for which stamp duty of Rs. 2.22 crore and registration fees of Rs. 30,000 had been paid. The apartment was bought together with four car parking spaces, the records indicate.

Square Yards states that Kumar bought the property in 2020 for Rs. 4.85 crore, a 65 percn appreciation over the value. The office situated in One Place Lodha has a carpet area of 1,146 sq ft. The buyers Vipul Shah and Kashmira Shah also purchased two car parking spaces in the deal that registered on the 16th of April 2025.

At the same time, Amrita Puri, who earned a reputation for playing leading roles in movies Aisha, Kai Po Che! and Four More Shots Please!, has found herself a role in Indian cinema and digital games. She comes from a home in which excellence in the creative and corporate world ran in the family, with daughter of​ a banking veteran​ Aditya Puri​, former MD of HDFC Bank.

Recently, in the news were Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who sold an office space in Mumbai’s Lower Parel for Rs. 8 crore, as property registration documents accessed by Square Yards revealed.
