Lemon Tree Signs New Hotel Project in Garudeshwar

Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of a new hotel property in Garudeshwar, Gujarat, as part of its ongoing expansion strategy in high-growth tourism and pilgrimage destinations.

The upcoming property, to be branded as Lemon Tree Hotel, Garudeshwar, will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. Through this new acquisition Lemon Tree will expand its presence in Gujarat to 32 total properties which include both existing and future hotels.

The new hotel will feature about 90 luxurious rooms and provide modern facilities which will support both business travelers and leisure guests. The main facilities will comprise a restaurant and banquet hall together with meeting spaces and leisure amenities which include a swimming pool and spa and fitness center.

The station of Garudeshwar which sits at a crucial point between major tourist sites gives visitors access to the Statue of Unity and attracts increasing numbers of tourists. The hotel’s location also ensures good connectivity, with Vadodara International Airport around 85 km away and Ekta Nagar railway station just a few kilometres from the site.

This development aligns with Lemon Tree Hotels’ broader strategy of expanding into emerging travel hubs and strengthening its presence in tier-2 and pilgrimage-focused markets. The company intends to capitalize on the rising need for branded hotel services which occurs because more people travel domestically and better transportation links have been established.
