The Leela Hotels Delivers Record Q1 After Rs. 35,000 Cr IPO

The Leela Hotels

Schloss Bangalore Limited, India’s only listed luxury hospitality company operating under The Leela brand, has delivered a record-breaking first-quarter performance in Q1 FY26, marking a strong start post its blockbuster IPO.

Total revenue rose 25 percent year-on-year to Rs. 3,013 million, while EBITDA jumped 63 percent to Rs. 1,280 million. This growth was fueled by a 20 percent increase in RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), robust MICE and F&B demand, and increased direct bookings across urban and resort destinations.

Key Highlights

  • Revenue up 25 percent YoY to Rs. 3,013M
  • EBITDA up 63 percent with 42.5 percent margins
  • RevPAR growth across urban + resort markets

CEO Anuraag Bhatnagar stated, “We are pleased to report a record first-quarter performance. The performance underscores the strength of India’s luxury travel market and the demand for The Leela’s distinctive experiential offerings.”

The company posted an impressive EBITDA margin of 42.5 percent and a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 86, reflecting exceptional guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Schloss Bangalore currently operates 13 properties with 3,544 keys across 11 cities, and is actively expanding with 8 new hotel projects in the pipeline. A notable addition is a 250-key ultra-luxury hotel and 63 serviced residences in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), positioned near the international airport. The brand is also entering high-potential markets such as Agra, Srinagar, Ayodhya, Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh, and Sikkim.

In a significant post-IPO development, the company reduced its net debt by 91 percent, down to Rs. 2,275 million, following a Rs. 35,000 million IPO that was oversubscribed 4.7x. This led to a CRISIL rating upgrade to AA (Stable), reinforcing investor confidence and enhancing its financial profile.
