Century Real Estate to Double Commercial Portfolio in 5 Years

Century Real Estate has unveiled plans to expand its commercial portfolio from the existing 30% to 50% within a period of five years. It would do so through phased development of seven million sq. ft. of Grade-A office projects as a part of the company's long-term plan to diversify its asset base and consolidate its leadership in high-yield commercial real estate.

“Our objective is to develop a balanced portfolio which improves value creation through cycles. Increasing our commercial presence enables us to access steady rental revenues and benefit from increasing demand for quality office space in Bengaluru," said Ravindra Pai, Managing Director, Century Real Estate.

• Plans over 10 residential and plotted projects in FY26, targeting ₹9,000 crore GDV across Bengaluru
• Developing a 135-acre integrated township along Airport Road and expanding into Mysuru

In tandem, the firm will introduce more than 10 plotted development and residential projects in FY26 in North, East, and Central Bengaluru. These developments will yield a gross development value (GDV) of over ₹9,000 crore in five years and comprise plotted communities, aspirational homes, luxury residences, and senior living.

In FY25, Century posted sales of ₹1,809 crore with 70% contribution to its topline from luxury housing and 75% sales boosted by new launches. The company is jointly developing Prestige Century Landmark with Prestige Group on Outer Ring Road and constructing office space at Electronic City and two retail projects at Yelahanka.

It is developing a landmark 135-acre integrated township along Airport Road with six districts, ranging from residential, commercial, hospitality, and educational sectors. Century has a 3,000-acre land bank and also plans to develop plotted projects in Mysuru, thus expanding its reach within Karnataka.
