Puranik Group has announced the launch of Kyoto Life at Puraniks Mirai, an innovative residential offering on Ghodbunder Road, Thane, designed around Japanese principles of mindfulness and simplicity.
Inspired by Kyoto’s traditions of balanced living, the project introduces a new approach to urban housing, blending cultural depth with modern infrastructure. The launch comes against the backdrop of a strong real estate surge in Thane’s property market, where residential rates have risen nearly 46 percent over the last three years, reaching Rs. 19,800 per sq. ft. as of June 2025.
Key Highlights
Specifically, Ghodbunder Road recorded ~11.9 percent growth in the past year and 15–20 percent appreciation in five years, cementing its reputation as one of the region’s most sought-after investment destinations.
Strategically located, Ghodbunder Road serves as a 20 km arterial link connecting the Eastern and Western Express Highways, with over 100,000 vehicles plying daily. Upcoming infrastructure projects, particularly the Mumbai Metro Line 4—with recent progress marked by the U-girder installation at Kapurbawdi station—are expected to significantly improve connectivity, with trial runs likely by year-end.
“Kyoto Life is far removed from the typical real estate model,” said Shailesh Puranik, CMD, Puranik Group. “It represents a cultural replenishment—spaces designed to breathe, encourage mindful stillness, and nurture community.”
