Planet Hollywood Unveils Banaraas in Thane

Planet Hollywood, the world-famous five-star hotel in Hiranandani Estate, Thane, has announced the opening of its latest fine-dining experience, Banaraas, on 10th September 2025.

Billed as more than a restaurant, Banaraas is an experiential sojourn through the rich cultural fabric of Indian cuisine reinterpreted for the contemporary taste.

Fostered in the cultural essence of Varanasi, Banaraas borrows culinary ideas from various places like Awadh, Purvanchal, Rajasthan, and Kashmir.

Classic dishes like Aloo Bhukhara Kofta, Awadhi Beter Biryani, Bhatti Ka Kalmi, and innovative Biscoff Kaju Katli are designed to blend traditional tastes with upscale presentation.

"Each dish is a testament to India's heritage, reinterpreted with a contemporary voice for contemporary connoisseurs. Indian food is a tradition rich, complex, and ageless. "To complement the rich culinary experience, we have handpicked a creatively crafted menu with signature drinks that are meant to elevate each culinary experience," said Food & Beverage Manager Biplab Roy. "From light creations such as Coconut Water Mojito and Ananas Ghat Fizz to decadent surprises, each beverage imparts a difference."
