Loya, the popular Northern Indian restaurant at Taj West End Bengaluru, just rolled out a brand-new menu that brings classic dishes to life with a modern twist. It’s all about celebrating the hearty, home-cooked tastes of North India while adding a few creative surprises.
Set in the beautiful, historic gardens of Taj West End, Loya has always been a go-to spot for anyone who loves authentic Indian food. The updated menu keeps that spirit alive with dishes made from fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Standouts include the Chukandar Rajgire ki Seekh—a tasty beetroot and amaranth kebab that’s light yet full of flavor. There’s also the Kadam Muj, a stylish kohlrabi galette that feels both familiar and fancy. Meat fans can dig into the Chaulai Shikaar, a rich mutton curry slow-cooked with amaranth, or the Galgal Paat Murg, chicken brightened up with lemon leaves.
Key Highlights
Vegetarians have plenty to enjoy too, like the Chaunk Wali Arbi—crispy colocasia spiced just right—or soft Pathyud rolls made with gram flour and amaranth leaves. Seafood lovers shouldn’t miss the Jwala Macchi, fish rubbed with a special spice mix, or the comforting Muj Gaad, a Kashmiri-style curry with lotus stem and turnip. Pair your meal with Bedu Roti, a unique flatbread made with black lentils and Himalayan garlic, and finish with the refreshing Him-Paat Ice Cream.
To go with the food, Loya introduced Vriksh—a new cocktail menu inspired by India’s plants and herbs. Think drinks made with truffle, saffron, betel leaf, and ginger that feel fresh and exciting.
"At Loya, we believe food and beverages are more than sustenance—they are memory, culture, and a bridge between generations," shares Grand Chef Rajesh Wadhwa. "With these new dishes and Vriksh, we honor Indian flavors' depth while crafting experiences that linger."
Echoing this sentiment, Taljinder Singh, Senior Vice President and Brand Custodian at IHCL, adds, "Every creation is a story of tradition and heritage, transforming ingredients into emotion. We invite guests to rediscover comfort through every bite and sip."
