IHCL Signs Gateway Hotel in Hyderabad's Somajiguda

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has signed an agreement to open a new Gateway hotel in Somajiguda, Hyderabad, marking a milestone in the brand’s expansion and taking its portfolio to 50 hotels.

The upcoming property will be developed as a conversion project and is designed to cater to business and leisure travellers alike.

The hotel will feature 225 rooms and suites, complemented by a variety of dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, and a bar and lounge.

Guest amenities will include a fully equipped gym, health club, swimming pool, and treatment rooms, ensuring a premium and holistic stay experience. IHCL will also offer extensive event and conference facilities, comprising 11 banquet halls, including one approximately 10,000 square feet in size, along with several meeting rooms, making the property a key destination for corporate events, weddings, and large gatherings.

Property owners D. Siva Rama Raju and DVS. Soma Raju expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with IHCL to introduce the Gateway brand to Somajiguda, a prominent commercial and residential district in Hyderabad. The area is known for its offices, retail hubs, and healthcare institutions, making it a strategic location for both business and leisure hospitality.

With this addition, IHCL strengthens its presence in Telangana, where it currently operates five hotels and has three more under development.
