Hilton Opens Luxury Sustainable Resort in Genome Valley

Hilton has expanded its portfolio in South Asia with the opening of Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa, its first resort in Hyderabad.

The resort, which was built in collaboration with C.K.R Resorts, opens in a city with a $94 billion GDP and rising demand for upscale accommodations due to foreign investment and improving infrastructure.

Spread across 20 acres in Genome Valley, Hilton’s new urban resort blends contemporary architecture with deep regional influences.

The property features 115 rooms, including 13 pool villas and six suites, all inspired by Telangana’s cultural heritage. Architectural elements reflect Kakatiya design traditions, showcased through intricate stonework, sculptural accents, and the use of locally sourced materials such as stone, wood, and native flora. A strong focus on sustainability defines the resort’s layout, aligning with Hilton’s commitment to responsible travel.

Built to cater to large weddings and corporate events, the resort offers 89,000 sq ft of versatile indoor-outdoor space. Key venues include two pillarless ballrooms, five meeting rooms, expansive lawns, a pool deck, and a scenic creekside mandapam set against natural landscapes.

The resort also marks the India debut of eforea, Hilton’s global spa brand, featuring eight treatment rooms, sauna, steam, ice shower, and a dedicated no-device relaxation zone. Recreational offerings cover basketball, pickleball, cricket, futsal, mini golf, and tennis, alongside children’s amenities such as an arcade, sunset storytelling, a Junior Chef’s Club, and farm-to-table experiences.

Dining spans diverse concepts: Gingerfire for Asian-rooted flavours, Yuzu for fusion cuisine, Nero for poolside classics, Drip for artisanal beverages and pastries, and Grid 78 for inventive cocktails and glocal tapas.

Sustainable systems include energy-efficient technologies, an in-house water bottling plant, EV charging stations, electric buggies, and eco-friendly packaging. This launch adds to the 147 Hilton Hotels & Resorts across the Asia-Pacific region.
