Mithun Sacheti, founder of CaratLane, has acquired a premium residential property in Chennai for Rs 36.5 crore, according to property registration data accessed via Zapkey.

The transaction, registered on March 6, 2026, highlights sustained high-value activity in the city’s core real estate markets. The asset is located on JJ Road in Teynampet, a well-established residential micro-market. The deal comprises a combined land parcel of approximately 7,044 sq ft and a built-up area of about 5,210 sq ft.

Mukundan’s share included a 3,120 sq ft plot with a G+1 residence spanning 2,480.8 sq ft, while Rajarajeshwari’s portion consisted of a 3,132 sq ft plot with a G+1 structure of 2,728.9 sq ft. Additionally, a 792 sq ft common passage jointly owned by both sellers forms part of the transaction.
