Bhumi World is planning to open the Outlet Mall of India in Bhiwandi, Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), making it the first outlet-style shopping mall in Maharashtra. The project is planned that will lead to the consolidation of over 150 domestic and global brands on an annual discount retail format, whereby the consumer receives high quality branded products at discounted rates and the brand is able to effectively cope with excess stock and seasonal stocks.
In comparison with the traditional malls where sale is conducted periodically, outlet malls are designed on permanent basis which is a form of discount; hence, they are a favorite in the international retail markets like the United States and Europe.
• 150+ brands including global fashion and lifestyle labels
• Located within a 400-acre integrated business ecosystem
• Designed to attract Gen Z and value-driven branded shoppers
The project of Bhumi World is an attempt to bring the same idea to Maharashtra through the creation of a structured ecosystem of outlets that will involve the fusion of retail experience, dining and entertainment experience.
The proposed shopping center will include top global and local brands in the fields of clothing, shoes, accessories, and a lifestyle.
The retailers that are likely to join the project are known brands like Armani Exchange, Superdry, Lacoste, Levi’s, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Jack and Jones, Vero Moda, Only, Crocs, Asics, and U.S. Polo Assn. that will be included in the project, as well as the Indian brands like The Souled Store, Rare Rabbit, Bonkers, and The Bear House.
