Netflix, the worldwide streaming titan, has decided to open its second office in India after the one in Mumbai. The company will be moving to a 41,000 sq. ft. area at CapitaLand ITPH, Block A. There together with Warner Bros. Discovery, they will be sharing the premises.
This will locate them at the center of the rapidly growing media and business ecosystem of Hyderabad. This relocation is a clear signal of the time commitment that Netflix intends to have in India, which is among its markets that grow fastest.
The creative and technical ecosystem of Hyderabad, which covers production, post-production, animation, and VFX, is an excellent reason why the city is a logical base for Netflix to branch out into regional content and for the operations department.
Hyderabad has become one of the most vibrant Indian global capability hubs, with more than 355 GCCs that employ 300,000 professionals, comprising 15% of the total GCC landscape in India.
The reasons for the city to attract that many people are the skilled workforce, competitive costs, excellent infrastructure, and progressive policies such as Telangana’s ICT Policy and TS-iPASS that have made the processes of setting up and running businesses much easier.
The most significant growth of GCCs in Hyderabad took place during the year 2025 when it witnessed the expansion of several global majors, including Eli Lilly, T-Mobile, P&G, Marriott, and Heineken.
