Listed Realtor Brigade Group begins High-end Housing Project in Chennai

Brigade Group, a listed real estate developer based in Bengaluru, said that it had begun construction on a high-end residential property in Chennai and anticipates making Rs. 1700 crore from it.

The business announced the opening of Brigade Altius, a high-end residential development, in a regulatory filing.

In the center of Chennai's IT corridor, in Sholinganallur, the Brigade Altius project provides easy access to the city's main business areas.

With three iconic buildings, each with 43 stories, the project spans 6.5 acres and has a total development area of 1.4 million square feet.

According to Brigade Group, the building will rise to a height of roughly 143 meters, providing inhabitants with expansive views of the city and the surrounding countryside.

It stated that the project has 50,000 square feet of facilities and that a sky bridge connects the buildings.

A deal of Rs. 2700 crore was struck in January by Brigade Group to develop a residential property plot on Whitefield-Hoskote Road. The residential project will cover 20 acres and have a total saleable area of about 2.5 million square feet.

As part of its expansion strategy, the Group announced in February that it will invest Rs. 1,500 crore in Kerala. Over the following five years, the investment will contribute to the creation of jobs for about 12,000 individuals.

“Our focus is on the three big South Indian markets of Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. Chennai is set to become our second-largest market after Bengaluru, and we aim to double our growth in the city across residential, commercial, retail and hospitality," Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director, Brigade Enterprises said.
