Brigade Group, a real estate firm, announced on Friday that it will spend Rs. 1,500 crore in Kerala as part of its growth strategy.
Over the following five years, the investment will contribute to the creation of jobs for about 12,000 individuals.
Brigade Group's flagship business, Brigade Enterprises Ltd., announced in a statement that it had submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) at the Invest Kerala Global Summit 2025.
In addition to WTC Kochi, the consortium plans to develop a second World Trade Center (WTC) in the state.
Brigade is also seeking to increase its presence in Kerala by developing a premium island resort in Vaikom and a residential project in Kochi.
It is anticipated that these projects will be finished by 2030. Subject to applicable laws, the Keralan government would offer the required assistance and regulatory facilitation.
Brigade Group, one of India's top real estate developers, was founded in 1986. In the South Indian cities of Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kochi, it has created numerous projects. The Group develops retail properties, hotels, offices, and residences.
Notably, The Brigade Gateway Residences, spanning more than 2.4 million square feet, is expected to rank among Hyderabad's tallest structures. With a sales potential of Rs. 3,300 crores, it will comprise about 600 upscale apartments spread across 58 stories, offering 3, 4, and duplex 5-bedroom layouts.
A luxurious 50,000 square foot clubhouse will also be a feature of the 58-story residential skyscraper. Half of the total number of residential apartments will be sold by the company for between Rs. 4 crore and Rs. 12 crore each.
