On June 16, 2022, publicly-listed real estate developer Godrej Properties Limited (GPL) announced plans to develop a high-end residential project on a 14-acre site in Hoskote, East Bengaluru. The upcoming project will deliver approximately 1.5 million square feet of saleable area with a projected revenue potential of Rs. 1,500 crore.
In a regulatory filing, the company stated that the new Godrej project in East Bengaluru reinforces its expansion into this rapidly growing micro-market.
Following the success of Godrej Woodscapes, this acquisition strengthens GPL's commitment to the East Bengaluru real estate market, which is becoming a major real estate investment hotspot due to improved infrastructure, quality social amenities, and proximity to employment hubs like Whitefield, ITPL, and the future Aerospace Park.
Gaurav Pandey, MD and CEO of Godrej Properties says, “Hoskote is an important micro-market in Bengaluru real estate for us. It continues to show strong demand for premium housing, and aligns with our mission to deliver best-in-class residential communities. We aim to build a high-quality development that creates long-term value for its residents.”

The site is strategically located about 5 km off NH-75 and enjoys strong connectivity with key nodes such as Budigere Cross, KR Puram, and the Whitefield micro-market. Infrastructure upgrades and expanding urban road networks, along with nearby industrial and logistics zones, further enhance Hoskote’s real estate potential as a connected and desirable location for next-generation residential developments.
