Bollywood Star Vicky Kaushal renews the Luxury Home Lease in Mumbai for Rs. 17 Lakh

The lease on an apartment in Mumbai's upscale Juhu neighborhood has been extended by Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, with a monthly rent starting at Rs. 17.01 lakh.

According to property registration documents seen by Square Yards, Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has extended the lease for an apartment in Mumbai's upscale Juhu neighborhood, with a monthly fee starting at Rs. 17.01 lakh.

The present leasing deal, which will begin in January 2025, includes a monthly rate of Rs. 17.01 lakh for the first and second years, rising to Rs. 17.86 lakh in the last year, according to Square Yards' analysis.

Kaushal is expected to pay a total of about Rs. 6.2 crore in rental payments during the course of the lease. According to Square Yards' analysis, this renewal comes after a prior lease deal that was signed in July 2021 for a five-year term, with monthly rent starting at Rs. 8 lakh.

Many Bollywood stars call Juhu, one of Mumbai's most affluent and desirable residential neighborhoods, home. The neighborhood is well-known for its beautiful coastline, fine dining options, and easy access to major business districts like Bandra and Andheri.

Additionally, it has great access to the Mumbai Metro system and the Western Expressway. According to Square Yards' examination of IGR property registration records, Bollywood celebrities Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, and Shakti Kapoor also own apartments in Juhu.

Vicky Kaushal is renting an apartment at Raj Mahal, a residential development that is ready for occupancy. The apartment's carpet area is 258.48 square meters (~2,781.83 square feet), based on property registration papers that Square Yards has examined. The transaction resulted in a Rs. 1,000 registration fee and a Rs. 1.69 lakh stamp duty payment. Along with a Rs. 1.75 crore security deposit, the lease agreement also grants exclusive access to three parking spots.
