
IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Yashvi Greenco LLP to develop Holiday Inn Express Surat Gauravpath, marking the brand’s official entry into Surat.
The hotel is scheduled to open in 2029 and forms part of IHG’s broader expansion strategy across India, particularly targeting commercial hubs and emerging urban markets.
The upcoming property will feature 110 rooms and will be integrated into a mixed-use development located along the Gauravpath corridor—an area witnessing significant infrastructure upgrades and rising commercial activity.

This strategic location positions the hotel to cater to a growing demand driven by business travel and urban expansion.
Surat, widely known as the Diamond City, continues to experience robust economic activity supported by its strong industrial base and improved connectivity. The hotel is expected to primarily serve business travellers, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and transit passengers, reflecting the city’s evolving role as a commercial powerhouse.
