(Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Limited), with its Overburden of Lignite material called Silica sand SiO2 97+ percent which produced from the mining of lignite in the Village Rajpardi, Jhagadiya, Dist.Bharuch.
This naturally occurring sand type of silica which was traditionally considered waste has become the cornerstone of the differentiated product line of UNIV Chemical & Adhesives SiO2 purity of almost 97.8 percent.
The company does not engage in traditional mining; instead fully focuses on using overburdened Material, which is consistent with the principles of the circular economy.
UNIV Chemical & Adhesives has become a responsible producer of infrastructure and environmental care in meeting the Green Product (Griha Certificate) and Eco-Vadis certificate, also operating within the government-approved mining premises.
High-Purity Sand with Higher Purpose
The distinction of the company is not only limited to sourcing of the Raw material, but also in the subsequent processing back with an advanced technology ecosystem.
On fully automated Machinery, UNIV Chemical & Adhesives can accurately control particle gradation which cannot be provided by conventional river sand. This facilitates the production of more robust, denser and longer lasting construction materials, which have been engineered to be consistent in its performance.
The product line of the company includes 100 percent Silica based Green Products Like, Plaster, Block, Tiles & Waterproofing products and hi-tech road repair products. One of them is its Silica Spray-Plaster solution. The compressive strength of the product, which is Higher in 7 days and high thermal resistance with a melting point of 1, 700C and good water-blocking properties with a very low thickness greatly exceeds the performance of the traditional sand-based alternatives.
