Radisson Hotel Launches Flight Booking Service in India

Radisson Hotel Group has introduced Radisson Flights in India, a strategic move towards creating an integrated hospitality ecosystem by providing end-to-end travel experiences. The new flight reservation platform has been incorporated into Radisson Hotels' website directly, allowing customers to book flights and hotel accommodations in one, uninterrupted transaction.

In order to make this service a reality, Radisson has collaborated with Etraveli Group, a worldwide flight technology leader. The site offers immediate access to flights on both domestic and international airlines, along with immediate confirmations and low prices. As part of the rollout, Radisson is also offering a one-time 20 percent discount on accommodation bookings across its chain to try the integrated booking process.

“This new digital product allows Indian guests to purchase flights and hotels in a single transaction through the Radisson Hotels platform," said the company in a statement.

“Radisson Flights is designed to meet the increasing consumer desire for simplified and integrated travel experiences. India is experiencing a growing need for frictionless travel experiences, and Radisson Flights is our response to that need. This launch is one part of our overall initiative to create an integrated ecosystem to address the changing needs of the Indian consumer and solidify our position as a digitally progressive hospitality brand." said Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and COO for South Asia at Radisson Hotel Group.

The India launch is part of a broader global strategy, with the flight booking function rolled out in phases in 14 countries. With this initiative, Radisson is positioning itself beyond a hotel brand and positioning itself to become a one-stop shop for end-to-end travel planning in the rapidly changing digital travel environment.
