NAREDCO Seeks PM's Birthday as 'Right to Housing Day'

The National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) has written to the Prime Minister requesting that his birthday be celebrated as ‘Right to Housing Day’ to honour his vision of Housing for All.

In the letter, NAREDCO Chairman Niranjan Hiranandani highlighted the transformative impact of government initiatives such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), under which more than four crore homes have already been built. With PMAY-U 2.0 expected to further boost housing development, NAREDCO believes this commemoration would symbolize India’s progress toward inclusive and dignified housing for every citizen.
