Madhuri Dixit's Juhu Sale Highlights Mumbai's Enduring Home Appeal

In Juhu, Mumbai, Bollywood icon Madhuri S Dixit Nene and her husband Dr. Shriram Madhav Nene have completed the sale of their apartment in one of the city’s most sought-after residential neighbourhoods.

The couple sold the 780.13 sq ft apartment located in Deep Varsha Co-operative Housing Society, Iris Park, for Rs. 3.90 crore, according to property registration documents.

Situated on the fourth floor, the home represents a classic example of compact luxury living in Mumbai’s western suburbs, where location and lifestyle continue to drive real estate value.

The sale deed was officially registered on December 15, highlighting continued transaction momentum in premium micro-markets such as Juhu.

Purchased in 2012 for Rs. 1.95 crore, the apartment nearly doubled in value over a 13-year holding period, translating into an appreciation of approximately 99.22 percent. This reinforces Juhu’s long-standing reputation as a high-performing residential zone, favoured for its proximity to the sea, established social infrastructure, and celebrity presence.

The buyer, a woman homebuyer, paid Rs. 19.5 lakh in stamp duty, benefiting from a 1 percent concession offered by the Maharashtra government—a policy move that continues to encourage women-led property ownership across the state.

In a parallel transaction registered the same day, Madhuri Dixit also sold a parking space associated with another apartment in the same society for Rs. 15 lakh, underscoring the standalone value of parking assets in densely populated urban pockets.

Beyond Juhu, the actor’s Mumbai real estate portfolio spans diverse segments. In 2024, she rented out a property in Andheri West for Rs. 3 lakh per month to Karamtara Engineering Pvt Ltd under a two-year lease. Earlier, in September 2022, she made headlines with the purchase of a Rs. 48 crore luxury apartment at Indiabulls Blu, Lower Parel—a sprawling 5,384 sq ft residence on the 53rd floor, epitomising vertical luxury living in South Mumbai.
