Khushi Kapoor Buys 63 Lakh Flat in Mumbai's Bandra West

Khushi Kapoor has purchased a 180 sq ft apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra West for ₹63 lakh, the Samtadeep Building property carries a carpet-area value of about ₹35,000 per sq ft.

Bollywood actor Khushi Kapoor has purchased a residential apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra West for ₹63 lakh, adding another property to her real estate portfolio. The transaction was registered on September 1, 2026, according to property registration documents accessed by real estate data analytics firm CRE Matrix. 

The apartment is located in the Samtadeep Building on 25th Road in Bandra West, one of Mumbai’s established residential neighbourhoods and a prominent location for Bollywood personalities. The property has a carpet area of 180 sq ft and a built-up area of 216 sq ft, making it a compact residential unit. Kapoor purchased the apartment from Farooq Chagla, with the transaction recorded at a consideration value of ₹63 lakh.

The deal also involved a stamp duty payment of ₹3.15 lakh. Based on the transaction value and carpet area, the property works out to approximately ₹35,000 per sq ft. When calculated against the built-up area, the effective price is around ₹29,167 per sq ft. The difference highlights the premium commanded by residential property in established parts of Bandra West, where limited inventory and strong demand continue to support elevated valuations.

Bandra West remains one of Mumbai’s sought-after residential markets, supported by its connectivity, established social infrastructure and proximity to major commercial districts. The neighbourhood also has a strong association with the Hindi film industry, making it a preferred residential destination for several actors and other entertainment professionals.

Khushi Kapoor, daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and late actor Sridevi, entered the Hindi film industry with The Archies in 2023. She subsequently appeared in films including Loveyapa and Nadaaniyan in 2025. Her latest property acquisition comes as she continues to build her career in the entertainment industry.

The Bandra purchase also adds to the Kapoor family’s established presence in Mumbai’s premium real estate market. Khushi and her sister Janhvi Kapoor, along with their father Boney Kapoor, had earlier jointly purchased a duplex in Bandra for ₹65 crore in 2022.
