Jamshri Realty Ltd. a leading real estate developer with diversified operations in property-related and hospitality businesses, has reported a strong performance for the first quarter of FY 2025-26, marking its first operational profit since its strategic shift.
A textile manufacturer from 1907 to 2018, the company pivoted into real estate and hospitality in November 2018 to adapt to industry changes and counter the manufacturing slowdown and COVID-19 impact. This transition has driven the company’s strong return to profitability.
For Q1 FY26, Jamshri Realty posted a 5 percent profit alongside a 10 percent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) revenue growth. Operational revenue rose from Rs.168.42 lakh to Rs.183.78 lakh QoQ, with total consolidated revenue reaching Rs.229.63 lakh for the quarter. Within its business segments, the Property & Related Services division contributed Rs.124.11 lakh, marginally higher than Rs.122.52 lakh in the same quarter last year, while Hospitality Services recorded a robust 25 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth to Rs.92.38 lakh from Rs.73.80 lakh. The company’s EBITDA before exceptional items stood at Rs.102.68 lakh, a sharp increase from Rs.50.86 lakh in Q4 FY25.
Commenting on the results, Rajesh Damani, Joint Managing Director at Jamshri Realty Ltd., said, “This quarter’s performance is a clear reflection of the momentum we have begun to build in our real estate and hospitality businesses. Our strategic transformation has positioned us well to capture emerging market opportunities in Tier 2 and 3 cities, and we are confident of sustaining this growth trajectory in the coming quarters.”
The strong quarterly performance was driven by healthy demand in emerging markets, growing aspirations in Tier 2 and 3 cities, and a resilient consumption-led economy.
