Fortune

With a number of new hotel openings and signings in the Financial Year 2024–2025, Fortune, a part of ITC's hotel group, concluded another prosperous year of growth. The additional properties, which are spread among gateway locations and emerging markets, will bolster the brand's visibility, particularly in tier II and tier III regions within the upscale to midmarket segment.

Fortune opened its first international hotel in Nepal at Bhaktapur, and six new hotels in India at Pahalgam, Puri, Chennai, Candolim (Goa), Palampur (Himachal Pradesh), and Ekta Nagar (Gujarat).

The cities of Goa, Kolkata, Chennai, Rishikesh, Indore, Bhimtal, Mukteshwar, Gorakhpur, Mohali, Surat, and Ayodhya will see an increase in the Fortune brand's visibility and presence thanks to the new hires.

As of March 31, 2025, Brand Fortune boasts a portfolio of 78 hotels, including 56 that are already open in Nepal and India and another 22 that are in the works. With these new hires, Fortune Hotels has expanded its network of alliances to more than 65 cities in India and Nepal, solidifying its position as a major force in the upscale-to-midmarket hotel market.

Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited said, “As we enter this new financial year, we reaffirm our commitment to sustained growth and excellence in hospitality. It is indeed a matter of delight to announce our new openings and signings in both emerging and established hotel markets in India and Nepal. This footprint expansion endeavors to offer travellers access to prime locations and Fortune’s comfortable hospitality. Our teams at these new properties will continue to create memorable stays be it for business, leisure or destination events.”
