Brigade Hotel Ventures, the hospitality arm of Bengaluru-based Brigade Enterprises, is charting a strategic expansion into India’s prominent religious and leisure destinations, reflecting a broader growth vision in the hospitality sector.
Currently, BHVL is the second-largest owner of chain-affiliated hotels in South India, operating nine hotels across Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chennai, Kochi, and GIFT City in Gujarat, with a total inventory of 1,604 keys.
Key Highlights
Its properties are operated in collaboration with global hospitality majors including Marriott, Accor, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Hyatt, with the upcoming Chennai hotel developed in partnership with Hyatt.
As part of its long-term strategy, BHVL plans to expand its portfolio to 14 hotels totaling 2,560 keys by FY29. This includes entering high-demand religious circuits and leisure destinations to cater to the growing domestic travel market, fueled by spiritual tourism and post-pandemic lifestyle shifts.
A key project in the pipeline is a hotel near Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) on Tumakuru Road, aimed at leveraging Bengaluru’s growing prominence as a business and event tourism hub.
