Commenting on the launch, Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President of Lemon Tree Hotels said, “We are pleased to announce the furthering of our footprint in Uttar Pradesh with the launch of our new property in Chandausi. This aligns with our vision of establishing a presence across India in cities across all tiers to become the most preferred hospitality chain in the country.”

Strategically positioned in Sambhal district, Chandausi is placed on the significant railway corridor that connects Moradabad, Bareilly, and Delhi, which makes it a handy halt for regional and intercity travelers alike. Even as its relevance increases, Chandausi has a small-town feel to it, with its name taking origins in "Chanda Si," moon-like.

The company also pointed out that this opening shows its "commitment to developing a hospitality network in high-growth micro-markets," especially as demand keeps growing outside of core metros. The introduction of upscale facilities in the second phase should appeal to leisure tourists and events organizers.
