Brigade Enterprises enters Coimbatore’s residential market with a 5.4-acre project in Saravanampatti under a JDA, carrying an estimated GDV of ₹600 crore and strengthening its residential presence across South India.
Brigade Enterprises Limited increases its residential presence in South India as the company enters the Coimbatore residential segment with the launch of its latest residential development in Saravanampatti. Brigade Enterprises Limited, the Bengaluru-based real estate firm, is launching this development on 5.4 acres of land under a Joint Development Agreement (JDA). This development has an estimated GDV of approximately ₹600 crore.
The project will be the first venture for Brigade Enterprises in the city of Coimbatore. According to the company, this project has been developed in an ideal location in the city of Coimbatore, known as Saravanampatti, which is one of the major technology and employment hubs of Coimbatore. This location has easy access to various Special Economic Zones, IT parks and social facilities.

According to Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director of the Brigade, there are many features in Coimbatore that help in building a foundation for real estate development in the long run, which include diversification of economy, talent pool, and infrastructure investments. The firm anticipates that the demand for quality real estate projects will increase as Coimbatore enters into its next stage of development.
Entry of the company into the city of Coimbatore is one of the strategies that the firm uses in order to achieve its diversification objectives in the residential sector in South India. Some of the other locations where the firm operates include Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mysuru, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, and it also has a presence in the hospitality and education sector.
In addition, the JDA approach is helpful to Brigade in increasing its development portfolio without having to buy the land directly. In such an arrangement, both the developer and the landowner will work together on the project according to the business terms agreed. Such an approach may help in accessing strategic land parcels for development purposes.
Saravanampatti’s positioning in Coimbatore’s IT zone adds more value to the development. This region has grown into an employment hub and also a residential corridor, thus enjoying good connectivity. Being near technological parks and other employment zones is also anticipated to add on residential demand.

The Coimbatore project is part of a number of expansion projects embarked upon by Brigade in recent times. The company acquired a two-acre plot of land on Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru, in July 2026 for a premium residential project worth about ₹400 crore. Previously, the company entered into a JDA for a residential project in Hyderabad, having a revenue potential of ₹850 crore.
The Coimbatore development will help Brigade expand its pipeline of properties in southern India and get exposure to the developing real estate market of the region. The ₹600 crore development shows that the company is consistently using strategic partnerships and Joint Development Agreements (JDAs) for the growth of its residential property portfolio.
