The Ascott Limited has signed a 120-unit Oakwood-branded serviced residence in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, its foray into one of India's most frequented pilgrimage sites. Developed jointly with KBR Homes India Private Limited, the property will bring high-end, international-standard hospitality to a city which receives more than 24 million pilgrims every year and is now developing into a real estate and industrial base.
Situated in the center of Tirupati, the Oakwood facility is planned to cater to both pilgrimage travelers and business tourists. It will offer 120 contemporary units, an all-day dining restaurant, Oakbar, a swimming pool, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The project aims to redefine city accommodation standards for the temple town.

KBR Homes, a unit of Bangalore-based KBR Infratech, will be the developer.
