Senior living operator Vedaanta Senior Living has opened its first senior living project Vedaanta ananta in Chengalpattu in Tamil Nadu. The Rs 50 crore development will have 69 low-density villas, and it will cost Rs 50 lakh, making it the 12 th project of the company in the state.
The project is being built on the 200 plus acre integrated township, Sameera Universe, together with Sameera Group. The community is situated in a strategic place on GST Road where there is smooth access to Chengalpattu Junction and the Kilambakkam Bus Terminus, which makes the community a well-connected retirement destination.
Key Highlights
Vedaanta Ananta is built in the form of a villa only senior community and age-friendly amenities such as anti-skid flooring, supporting railings, and barrier-free access help in increasing safety and movement.
It will also enable the provision of 24/7 healthcare services, a paramedical team will be in-house and ambulance services will be provided, which will strengthen its service-oriented model.

Vedaanta Senior Living Co-founder and Director Rahul Sabharwal said that the launch consolidates the expansion strategy of the company in Tamil Nadu, which is a mature and high-potential market in the field of senior housing.
Jayakumar Murugesan, the CEO of Sameera Group, mentioned that the operational excellence and future-ready community management is a part of the long-term vision of the township and the partnership guarantees it.
Vedaanta is today running 10 running communities in South India and 12 communities in construction.
