Taj Mahal Hotel Lucknow to Add 96 Luxury Rooms in Expansion

Lucknow's Taj Mahal Hotel is planning a huge expansion, the addition of 96 luxury rooms on some 100,000 sq. ft. at Vipin Khand. CP Kukreja Architects has designed the project with the intention of merging unobtrusively into the current five-star hotel while cementing its position as a work of art and culture landmark.

Overlooking the Ambedkar Memorial Park and the Gomti riverfront, the expansion adheres to the hotel's classical design vocabulary, characterized by symmetry, proportion, and contextual sensitivity.

 A double-height arched colonnade delineates the new lobby, providing grandeur and civic presence, while upper floors are scaled to achieve balance between privacy and panoramic views of Lucknow.
