
Taj Bangalore has completed a remarkable 10 years of operations since its opening in 2015 at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. Initially a 154-room hotel, it has since expanded to 370 rooms and suites, following the addition of a new wing.
Over the years, Taj Bangalore has aligned with Bengaluru’s growth as a major global business hub, strengthening its position as a preferred venue for meetings and events.
The property boasts a 9,400 sq ft grand ballroom, twelve meeting rooms, two corporate office spaces, and the Vista Lawn for large events.

In terms of dining, food and beverage offerings include Café 77 East for global cuisine, Tamarind for Awadhi and Rajasthani dishes, Soi & Sake for pan-Asian dining, and a revamped Lobby Lounge with upgraded beverages and seating.
Sustainability is also central to its operations under IHCL’s Paathya framework, where the hotel operates on green energy, has reduced its carbon footprint by 3.9 percent, and holds EarthCheck Gold certification.

Initiatives like eliminating single-use plastics and having an in-house glass bottling plant further showcase the hotel’s commitment to the environment.
Recently, Taj Bangalore was awarded Best Airport Hotel in India and South Asia at the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2025. General Manager Mohit Gurnani highlighted the hotel’s journey as a testament to Taj’s hallmark warmth and excellence.
