
Summit Hotels and Resorts has declared that it has signed two boutique properties in North Bengal, which has further consolidated its presence in Darjeeling and Siliguri areas. The new properties, the Summit Gulma River Resort in Siliguri and the Summit Falling Water near Darjeeling, are a continuation of the nature-based, experience hospitality that the brand has been offering.
The two properties will have 30 rooms each and will be modeled after providing destination-focused intimate stays. Summit Gulma River Resort is a picturesque river and tea garden in the Gulma region of Siliguri and it is an ideal place that can be used by leisure travellers as a quiet resort.
Key Highlights
It will consist of regular and studio-like rooms with kitchenettes and other facilities like a restaurant bar, spa, gym, and a banquet facility that will accommodate small events and gatherings. The resort is projected to commence its operations on August 15.
The second property, Summit Falling Water, will be built in Rangbull, around Darjeeling, and will be open at the beginning of the year 2027.

The hotel has an iconic architectural philosophy, which is inspired by the philosophy of Frank Lloyd Wright and is integrated in the natural environment. It will be constructed on a running stream and will provide individual balconies with the hills and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.
