
Playback singer Shreya Ghoshal has added another high-value asset to her growing real estate portfolio by purchasing a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Santacruz West for approximately ₹20.88 crore. Her family purchased the property as their third real estate investment since September which shows their pattern of buying high-end residential properties.
The newly acquired apartment is located in the Vaayu building on Sarojini Road, a well-established and upscale residential area known for its connectivity and social infrastructure. The apartment occupies a higher floor and provides a total usable area of 2,900 square feet, which consists of 2,601 square feet of carpet space and 299 square feet of balcony space.

The deal also includes three dedicated car parking spaces, which add significant value in Mumbai's space-constrained property market.
The transaction was officially registered on April 24, 2026, with a stamp duty payment of about ₹1.25 crore. The project involves a redevelopment process which replaces outdated buildings with contemporary residential facilities that provide better utilities and more efficient building designs.
The Ghoshal family purchased two additional properties after their first two acquisitions in Mumbai's Worli area. The built high-end apartments which cost ₹60 crore. The consecutive investments show that high-end housing demand continues to exist in Mumbai's top residential areas. The existing high-end housing market exists because of the redevelopment projects which provide modern living standards.
