Sarovar Hotels has announced the launch of Sarovar Portico Sriperumbudur, a 156-room eco-sensitive property that aims to create new standards in sustainable hospitality.
Situated in one of South India's rapidly developing industrial clusters, the hotel combines energy-efficient technologies, a solar roof, rainwater harvesting, a sewage treatment plant, and an in-house bottling facility to reduce its carbon footprint.
Pointing to the group's strategic intent, Federico J González, CEO of Louvre Hotels Group, stated, "India is a strategic market for the Louvre Hotels Group, and Sarovar Hotels remains a significant part of our growth here. Opening Sarovar Portico Sriperumbudur underscores our intent to invest in high-growth locations while leading sustainability and innovation in the hospitality industry."

The hotel also has two dining venues SPR Kitchen, an all-day dining restaurant presenting the first "Bowl Meal" concept in the region, and Chola Lounge, a tropical-themed bar with handcrafted drinks. For celebrations, it has 7,245 sq. ft. of versatile indoor function space, led by Summit, the biggest pillar-less banquet center in the region.
Through this debut, Sarovar Hotels consolidates its presence in Tamil Nadu, reiterating its commitment to sustainable, experience-based hospitality in India's nascent business hubs.
