Royal Orchid Signs Regenta Gwalior Hotel Near Airport

Royal Orchid Hotels has announced the signing of a new upscale hotel in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, reinforcing its growing footprint in Central India.

The upcoming property will be branded as Regenta Gwalior and will be strategically located near Gwalior Airport, operating under a management agreement aligned with the company’s asset-light expansion strategy.

This signing marks Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels’ second property in Gwalior and its fourth hotel in Madhya Pradesh, complementing the group’s existing portfolio in Bhopal, Indore, and Gwalior.

The expansion is aimed at addressing rising demand for organised hospitality across business, leisure, and transit travel segments in the region.

Regenta Gwalior will be developed in two phases. Phase I will feature 71 rooms, along with banquet and event facilities designed to host weddings, meetings, and social gatherings. Phase II will add 30 additional rooms, enhancing overall inventory and supporting future growth in demand.

The hotel is owned by Hoshiyar Singh Tomar, Owner of Oakwood Hotel Its proximity to the airport, nearby industrial hubs, and key tourist landmarks such as Gwalior Fort positions the hotel to serve a diverse guest mix including business travellers, tourists, and transit guests.
