Roseate Hotels Signs Luxury Lakeside Resort in Bhimtal

The Roseate Hotels and Resorts, the luxury hospitality brand of the Bird Group, has declared the signing of The Roseate Bhimtal, a boutique lakeside resort in the Uttarakhand as part of its growth plan in the Indian emerging luxury leisure hospitality sector. The property is set to commence in December 2026 and will become the first hotel in the brand to be run on management agreement in India.

The proposed resort will be situated on a beautiful Kumaon region and will have 30 rooms that are well designed providing the guests with undisturbed views of the beautiful Bhimtal Lake.

The property will be the fusion of nature, wellness and customised hospitality services to meet the growing need among travellers in immersive and wellness-based leisure experiences.

The hotel is located strategically within a distance of around five hours by road to Delhi some 45 minutes to Nainital and about one hour to Pantnagar Airport with an aim of capturing urban travellers to enjoy a peaceful vacation in the feet of the Himalayan foothills.

The property will be surrounded by hills of forested vegetation and scenic views and will concentrate on wellness experiences, curated meals and design-led hospitality to display the signature luxury experience of Roseate brand.

A refurbishment of the estate will be carried out with a strategic basis to match the Roseate standards (architecture and services) before it is opened. Upon its opening, the resort will have customized guest experiences focused on nature, relaxation and wellbeing, which will make it a unique boutique luxury resort in the Kumaon region.

The growth is also indicative of the larger growth strategy of Roseate Hotels & Resorts by asset-light management relationships that allows the brand to increase footprint in major leisure locations in India. The group is currently running high-end hotels like The Roseate New Delhi, Roseate House New Delhi and The Roseate Ganges in Rishikesh as well as hotels in the United Kingdom.
