Polo Hotels and Varun Tea Plantations have announced a joint venture to launch the Polo Planters Lodge Resort in Doars, West Bengal.

This partnership blends Polo Hotels & Resorts’ expertise in immersive hospitality with Ellenbarrie’s tea heritage, creating a retreat that celebrates both indulgence and authenticity. Set across 20 acres of lush tea estates, the Polo Planters Lodge Resort will be an exclusive villa-only property, including luxurious pool villas with tranquil views of sprawling “chai bagan” landscapes. The concept draws inspiration from the planter lifestyle, offering guests an opportunity to experience the charm of tea country living.
