Mumbai’s dessert scene just got sweeter as Poetry by Love & Cheesecake opened its latest outlet at the iconic Eros Theatre Building in Nariman Point.
The expansion introduces “Scoops,” the world’s first scoopable cheesecake, marking a new chapter for the brand known for indulgence and innovation.
Startining in a humble 200 sq. ft. kitchen in 2012, Poetry by Love & Cheesecake, launched by Ruchyeta Bhatia and Chef Amit Sharma, has expanded to a chain of 21 outlets in Mumbai.
"The Eros Building is Mumbai's most revered cultural landmark, and we couldn't have dreamed of a more suitable location to introduce the next chapter of Poetry," said Ruchyeta Bhatia, Co-founder.

Ruchyeta also added, "With 'Scoops,' we are innovating tradition by offering our consumers a whole new way to savor cheesecakes while remaining committed to delivering quality, craft, and attention to detail."
Chef Amit Sharma, Co-founder and Head Chef, emphasized the journey behind the new product. “Creating a cheesecake that can be scooped while retaining our signature texture and richness was a technical and creative challenge. After months of Research and Development, we’ve perfected a format that is creamy, stable, and indulgent, while giving customers the joy of customization. ‘Scoops’ is not just a dessert; it’s an experience.”
The new menu allows customers to select from eight flavors such as Avocado, Matcha, Lotus Biscoff, and New York Classic, besides customizable scoops and toppings. The idea will be expanded to other locations, beginning with Powai in September and in all of Mumbai by October.
