Nature Trails Expands with New Resort in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand

Nature Trails Rishikesh

Nature Trails, the experiential hospitality brand of Thomas Cook (India), has expanded its portfolio with the launch of Nature Trails Rishikesh, its 5th resort located in Uttarakhand.

The new property adds to the brand's existing resorts in Maharashtra (Durshet, Sajan, Kundalika) and Goa (Rock Valley).

Situated between the spiritual towns of Rishikesh and Haridwar, the resort spans 4 acres in the lush Chilla region near Rajaji National Park. The resort caters to travellers seeking a combination of spiritual immersion and adventure tourism.

Key Highlights

  • Nature Trails Rishikesh is located between Rishikesh and Haridwar, offering both spiritual and adventure tourism
  • The resort features 29 rooms with private balconies and easy access to Rajaji National Park and spiritual sites
  • The property offers white-water rafting, nature walks, and Garhwali cuisine for a balanced experience of leisure and adventure

With 29 thoughtfully designed rooms, each featuring private balconies and sit-out areas, the resort offers a Himalayan ambiance surrounded by open lawns and palm-lined pathways.

Guests can explore the local spiritual sites, including Laxman Jhula, Tapovan, and the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. For adventure lovers, the resort offers easy access to activities like white-water rafting, safari rides, and nature walks.

On-site, visitors can enjoy relaxation by the pool, peaceful evening strolls, and dining options that blend Garhwali flavours with popular Indian dishes. The resort is well connected by road, rail, and air, making it a perfect destination for families, couples, spiritual seekers, and adventure enthusiasts.

Mahesh Iyer, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Thomas Cook (India), said “India’s domestic experiential travel is witnessing strong momentum as travellers seek immersive stays combining rest, adventure, gastronomy, and spirituality. The launch of the 5th Nature Trails resort in Rishikesh creates an attractive offering for travellers looking to blend adventure and spiritual tourism through curated, locally rooted experiences.”
