L&T Wins Contract to Build 7 Towers in Gurugram

Larsen and Toubro have obtained an important construction contract to construct seven high-rise residential towers in Gurugram which strengthens its position in India's urban infrastructure and real estate development sector.

The project has been awarded by Oberoi Realty and L&T will execute it through its Buildings and Factories business division which specializes in large-scale engineering procurement and construction projects that cover residential commercial and industrial sectors.

The contract is classified as a "significant" order which normally ranges in value from ₹1,000 crore to ₹2,500 crore but the actual financial information remains undisclosed. The project requires the execution of essential construction tasks which include the construction of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) shells and core structures and the performance of earthwork and piling operations that must be finished according to predetermined deadlines.
