Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the signing of Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Khurpatal, Uttarakhand, marking another strategic milestone in the company’s expansion across high-potential leisure destinations.

The signing further strengthens Lemon Tree’s growing presence in Uttarakhand, a key market for both religious tourism and nature-led travel.

The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. The group aims to deliver value-driven hospitality experience aligned with the Keys Select brand philosophy.

Located in the serene hill hamlet of Khurpatal, near Nainital, the upcoming hotel sits at an altitude of approximately 1,635 meters. Khurpatal is renowned for its striking blue-green lake, encircled by dense forests of pine, oak, and deodar. Unlike the crowded hill station of Nainital, Khurpatal offers a quieter and more peaceful environment, characterized by crisp mountain air, uninterrupted views, and a slow-living appeal.

The destination is popular for boating, nature walks, trekking, birdwatching, and wellness-focused getaways, making it ideal for travellers seeking immersive nature experiences.

The planned hotel will feature 120 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a banquet hall, and a meeting room, along with recreational amenities such as a swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre. The project is designed to support both leisure stays and small-scale gatherings, reinforcing Lemon Tree Hotels’ commitment to experiential hospitality in emerging leisure markets.
