Bangalore’s social dining landscape welcomes a fresh new address with the launch of KICO, a lifestyle-driven destination that resists easy categorisation.
Neither just a café nor simply a bar, KICO positions itself as something more fluid: a modern living room where mornings begin with coffee, evenings unfold over cocktails, and the space continuously evolves with the people who inhabit it.
Part of the Yazu Hospitality Group, KICO is built around a simple yet intentional philosophy: ‘The Community Is You.’
Designed for participation rather than passive consumption, the space brings together playlists, art collaborations, streetwear drops, and shared meals, creating a natural ecosystem where culture and connection take centre stage.’
KICO transitions effortlessly from laid-back daytime coffee catch-ups to spirited evenings, making it equally suited for creative meet-ups, casual work sessions, weekend hangouts, and spontaneous gatherings. While the energy, lighting, and music shift through the day, the sense of belonging remains constant.
“KICO’s differentiator isn’t just what it serves, but how it functions as a cultural space. Music programming and merchandise drops are embedded into the brand’s DNA. We’re positioning KICO as a cultural hangout rather than a transactional dining spot,” says Ranbir Nagpal, Founder, YazuHospitality.
Design That Encourages You to Stay
Designed by Sumessh Menon Associates, KICO’s interiors reflect its community-first ethos. Earthy gradient brick, matte black trellis work, soft sheer curtains, and a criss-cross wood-patterned ceramic floor create a warm, tactile environment. Bespoke seating by 212 Studio - from marble-top tables and cozy armchairs to plush sofas, invites guests to linger, order another round, and lose track of time.
The bar, illuminated by custom leather-encased chandeliers from Ledomatics, sits beneath a charcoal black grid ceiling. Graffiti-style collage artwork by ZA Art injects an urban, sporty edge, while the outdoor enclosure, wrapped in greenery and topped with an interlocked wooden roof, offers a city escape without leaving Bangalore.
Beverage Program: Built for Every Kind of Drinker
KICO’s beverage program is inclusive and personality-led, giving mornings the same thoughtfulness as evenings. Anchored by a curated coffee and breakfast beverage menu in collaboration with Nandan Coffee, offerings range from classic espresso-based brews to slower, more expressive pours, ideal for both quick caffeine fixes and unhurried conversations.
Matcha takes centre stage with a dedicated range of matcha-forward beverages crafted for purists and playful drinkers alike. From rich, comforting cups to light, refreshing blends, the menu reflects KICO’s wellness-led approach without compromising on flavour.
Cocktails That Shift with the Day
As evening sets in, KICO naturally transitions into a cocktail-led social hub. This cocktail program is built on the belief that there’s no single way to drink – only your way, because at KICO, the community isn't a concept — it’s who you are, and what you choose to sip !!The cocktail menu is designed around moods and energy levels rather than rigid categories, featuring everything from low-ABV, easy-sipping pours for early evenings to bold, spirit-forward drinks as the night deepens.
Highlights include:
● Low-intervention cocktails built with tea, coffee, citrus, and botanicals
● Matcha- and coffee-led cocktails that blur the lines between café culture and bar craftsmanship
● Spice-forward, high-impact drinks using ingredients like Byadagi chilli, guava, coconut, and regional botanicals
● Dessert-inspired cocktails where flavours such as cheesecake, caramel, banana, and espresso are reimagined with balance and restraint
Classic cocktails are also honoured, with guests encouraged to name their preferred drink and have it crafted to perfection, reinforcing KICO’s belief that there’s no single way to drink, only your way.

Food Designed for Sharing
At KICO, food is rooted in the idea of community dining. The menu moves comfortably between light, nourishing plates and indulgent comfort dishes meant to be shared. Fresh, seasonal produce, premium proteins, and house-made sauces form the backbone, allowing flavours to shine without unnecessary complexity.
The all-day breakfast menu offers inventive takes on familiar favourites - from Akuri-style soft scrambles and eggs benedict variations to Japanese fluffy pancakes and smoothie bowls. As the day progresses, the menu expands into globally inspired plates, including robata grills, Southeast Asian rice bowls, and community-style dishes ranging from tandoori preparations to Naga-style skewers and lamb ghee roast. The focus remains on approachable, inclusive food that brings people together.
Streetwear Culture Meets Social Space
Strengthening its identity as a lifestyle destination, KICO features a dedicated merchandise section in collaboration with Noise Culture, showcasing curated drops that celebrate streetwear and creative expression.
With regular music programming and rotating art collaborations, KICO sits at the intersection of dining, fashion, music, and art, mirroring the way a new generation experiences social spaces. It marks a new chapter in Bangalore’s social dining landscape- a space that feels familiar yet fresh, energetic yet comforting, and always shaped by the people who walk through its doors.
