Inside Hampton by Hilton's Stylish Mid-Market Debut in India

Hampton by Hilton India hotel design showcasing modern rooms and amenities

Amritsar, along with Vrindavan, Raipur and Lonavala, is set to welcome a fresh wave of globally inspired yet locally rooted hospitality as Hilton and NILE Hospitality announce the signing of five Hampton by Hilton hotels across India.

The development marks a significant step in expanding premium mid-market hospitality options in high-demand cultural, spiritual and leisure destinations.

The new properties are part of a strategic licensing partnership aimed at scaling Hampton by Hilton in India, tapping into the country’s rapidly growing domestic travel and value-conscious luxury segment.

Key Highlights

  • Amritsar, Vrindavan, Raipur & Lonavala to host new Hampton by Hilton hotels
  • 350+ keys across five properties, opening over the next two years
  • Localized design, wellness-focused rooms and region-inspired dining

Together, the first five hotels will offer over 350 guestrooms, bringing Hampton’s globally trusted experience—backed by more than 3,000 hotels worldwide—to Indian travellers.

Design plays a central role in the India debut. Each hotel will feature optimized room and bathroom layouts, contemporary interiors and a strong emphasis on rest and sleep. Signature Hampton bedding, thoughtfully planned lighting and calm palettes are intended to deliver comfort-driven stays that resonate with both business and leisure guests.

Wellness and everyday convenience are also key pillars. Fitness centres in every hotel, seamless service touchpoints and practical amenities ensure the properties meet modern lifestyle expectations. The brand’s approach blends efficiency with warmth, aligning global standards with Indian sensibilities.

Food and beverage offerings have been reimagined for local tastes. Guests can expect regionally inspired breakfast menus, a 24/7 coffee station, and “Sunny Sides”, a first-of-its-kind full-service restaurant concept created exclusively for Hampton’s India expansion. Complimentary breakfast remains a signature highlight, elevated through local flavours.

Clarence Tan, senior vice president, Development, Asia Pacific, Hilton, said, “these signings represent a significant milestone in our partnership with NILE Hospitality, which will bring Hilton’s trusted hospitality to more travelers across the country. This achievement reflects the strength of our partnership with NILE Hospitality and our shared commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. Hampton by Hilton has witnessed extraordinary growth globally, and we see tremendous potential for the brand in India as we continue to expand and meet the rising demand for quality, affordable accommodation.”

Jenny Milos, vice president, Brand Management, Suites & Focused Service, Asia Pacific, Hilton, said, “Hampton by Hilton has earned its place as a global powerhouse in the focused service category by staying consistent where it matters, and adaptable where it counts. As the brand expands across Asia Pacific, we’re focused on delivering the core promise of reliable, high-quality stays and friendly service, what we call ‘Hamptonality,’ the brand’s signature culture of genuine hospitality, while allowing for thoughtful regional customization that enhances the guest experience while retaining Hampton by Hilton’s core strength. Each service and experience enhancement, while locally tailored, remains true to Hampton’s brand promise of reliable, friendly, high-quality stays at accessible price points.”

Vikram Singh Chauhan, Founder and CEO, NILE Hospitality, said, “This partnership represents a defining chapter for NILE Hospitality. It goes beyond building hotels to co-creating a product that reflects the growing appeal of the midscale sector for both travelers and owners seeking brand connections in India today. Each destination was selected through an insight-led approach, targeting cities where spiritual & leisure tourism, domestic business travel, and infrastructure growth converge. These markets represent a high-footfall base and an untapped opportunity in terms of room supply. The demand for quality branded midscale hospitality continues to outpace supply in these cities – offering Hampton the opportunity to establish a front runner space in India’s evolving travel economy.”
