Inside Goa's Upcoming Marriott at Manohar Airport Aerocity

Proposed Goa Marriott Manohar International Airport Hotel within Aerocity development

In North Goa, just minutes from Manohar International Airport, Marriott International has announced a landmark hospitality development that is set to redefine airport-adjacent luxury living in the state.

The global hotel major has signed an agreement with the Sugee Group to develop the Goa Marriott Manohar International Airport Hotel, a 200-key property located within Western India’s first Aerocity.

Designed as part of a large mixed-use destination, the upcoming hotel will sit alongside commercial and retail spaces, a golf course, and education and training institutes.

Key Highlights

  • 200-key luxury hotel planned within Goa’s first Aerocity at Manohar Airport
  • Five-minute access to airport and close to Anjuna, Baga and Calangute beaches
  • Grand ballroom, Quan Spa, outdoor lawns and family-focused amenities

The strategic location—just a five-minute drive from the airport—positions the property as a seamless gateway for travellers seeking comfort. Beyond connectivity, the hotel’s setting offers easy access to North Goa’s most vibrant leisure destinations. Popular beaches such as Anjuna, Baga and Calangute are within quick reach, while Panjim, the state’s cultural and administrative centre, is approximately 30 minutes away. This balance between coastline charm and cultural depth makes the property appealing to both holidaymakers and business travellers.

The Goa Marriott Manohar International Airport Hotel will feature 200 well-appointed guestrooms and suites, designed to reflect Marriott’s contemporary luxury standards with a strong sense of place. Lifestyle amenities will include multiple dining venues, the signature Quan Spa, a fully equipped fitness centre, a swimming pool and a dedicated Kids Club, catering to families and long-stay guests.

A key highlight of the project is its expansive events and social infrastructure. The hotel will offer nearly 1,000 square metres of meeting and event space, anchored by a Grand Ballroom and complemented by landscaped outdoor lawns. These venues are expected to attract conferences, destination weddings and high-profile social gatherings, reinforcing Goa’s growing reputation as a premium events destination.

“We are pleased to expand our footprint in Goa with this important signing,” said Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International. “Goa continues to be one of India’s most compelling leisure and lifestyle markets. This collaboration with Sugee Group reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality hospitality and elevated guest experiences in key destinations across India.”

Nishant Deshmukh, Founder and Managing Director, Sugee Group, said the partnership marks the group’s entry into hospitality. “Collaborating with Marriott International aligns with our vision of creating international-standard experiential developments. Goa’s global tourism appeal makes it an ideal location for our hospitality debut, and we look forward to commencing construction soon.”
